I'm sure it's just a mis-print, but what do I know?

Is "Skine" or "Skiners" even a word? Can someone please look it up? Because if you threw this down in Scrabble, guaranteed it will get challenged every time. You see, they have a lot of leather in their store, so "skinners" just sound so much righter. Oh well, too late, name's been chosen. Live with the decision.
